NASA PRAISES CHI'S PEFORMANCE

At the conclusion of the second year of CHI’s performance of its Installation Facilities Operations, Repair and Maintenance (IFORM) contract at NASA’s Glenn Research Center, the following joint statement was made by the Government’s Contracting Officer and Technical Monitor:

"Call Henry has been very responsive to Government priorities in scheduling delivery order work, often initiating work at its own (financial) risk in order to complete the effort by the desired date. CHI has complied with changes to the Government facility shutdown procedures, which added substantial administrative burden and cost to the Company, without claiming any price adjustment. CHI has been flexible in negotiating payment schedules for price increases due to wage increases under the Service Contract Act. Overall, Call Henry‘s quality of work has been excellent while timeliness of their services has been rated very good with on-time completion rate of 98.4% out of the thousands of activities and events they have performed. Their price/cost is also very good, with no claims submitted for changed requirements on this large fixed price contract".

In his performance review of CHI’s performance on its NASA Glenn rehabilitation contract, the NASA Project Manager stated:

"As the Project Manager, this project would not have been completed in a timely fashion if it were not for the outstanding effort put forth by Call Henry, Inc."

In a recent press interview, the Executive Director of the Spaceport Florida Authority (SFA), the Nation’s first State space agency, stated the following regarding the technical consulting services CHI provided SFA:

"CHI was critical to the State’s effort to submit a proposal to bring the VentureStar project to Florida’s Spaceport, including gathering Air Force data and environmental assessments. They proved what they could do and in the process they beat out some very major corporations that competed for the work."

AIR FORCE MAINTENANCE OF THE YEAR

Call Henry, Inc. with its joint venture partner was awarded the Air Force Maintenance of the Year for Excellent Base Maintenance Service and rated 4.98 for Excellent Customer Satisfaction Program at its Onizuka Civil Engineering Support Contract. EXCELLENT EVALUATION

Call Henry, Inc. has just completed a 5 year and six month contract at NASA Glenn Research Center as the Institutional Facilities Operations, Repair and Maintenance Contractor. The Government evaluation of our performance for the total contract period was “excellent” in all areas: 1) Quality; 2) timeliness; 3) price/cost and; 4) others i.e. work relations, etc. The contract was re-competed and Call Henry, Inc. re-won the contract with options up to 10 years.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORT TO SAFETY

COVETED ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY AWARD

Call Henry’s LAAFB environmental team takes coveted award - Col Marvin Fisher, Air Force Space Command Civil Engineer announced that 61ABG Civil Engineering’s environmental team was awarded the 2003 AFSPC General Thomas D. White Environmental Quality Award. “This award culminates a tremendous effort”, said General Lance Lord, “This outstanding achievement also confirms what we already new—the 61st Air Base Group Civil Engineering Division’s professionalism and dedication to the mission are second to none.”

These awards honor General Thomas D. White, Air Force Chief of Staff from 1957 to 1961, who charted the course for Air Force environmental programs. The purpose is to promote excellence in every aspect of Air Force environmental programs. The award was designed to recognize the efforts of installations and individuals for environmental quality, restoration, pollution prevention, recycling, and conservation of natural and cultural resources.

The CHI environmental team at Los Angeles was honored for expediting complex projects while complying with various environmental requirements. The group demonstrated foresight, commitment, and perseverance in eliminating environmental violations, identifying and correcting program deficiencies, cleaning up contaminated sites, minimizing hazardous waste, and preventing pollution. Our environmental team is just the catalyst for implementing the base environmental programs. Our success is directly dependent upon the outstanding support we receive from all base personnel & organizations. This is the first time the Base has ever won this award and is something all LAAFB personnel can be proud of, said Mr. Chris Phillips, Call Henry Inc. Environmental Chief.

LAAFB will go on to compete at the Air Force level and winners at the Air Force level will complete for the prestigious Secretary of Defense Environmental Security Awards.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORT OF A SERVICE CONTRACTOR AWARD

Call Henry, Inc. won the Outstanding Support of a Service Contractor Award for the High Voltage crew's lost workday rate (zero per 100 occurance over a 2 year period at our GRC contract)

NASA presented our company with the Group Achievement award for redesigning, constructing, and commissioning the Composite Technology Center renovation project to support the aeronautics program.

Call Henry was tasked to replace 5 miles of 138 KV cable strung through meggaminer shafts and a 2,000' drain pipe located 75' below grade. The NASA project manager said of our performance: "Call Henry Inc. performed all the demolition and construction for the project. To say they performed a Herculean effort in the time frame they were given would be an understatement. Thanks for bringing your knowledge and craftsmanship to the worksite each and every day."

We are quite pleased with what our Vandenberg AFB Technical Contract Manager said about our performance on the Launch Support Contract. "CHI is a true maintenance and service contractor, employing Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM) technologies that are more efficient and require fewer resources without sacrificing quality. They are aggressive in solving problems and are swift and thorough in closing them out. CHI has done well in our unique launch environment that requires higher demand on personnel and resources."
