DETAILS ON CHI’S CURRENT TEST OPERATIONS CONTRACT
CHI’s current NASA Plum Brook Station contract has two primary components: 1) aerospace research and development test facilities operations and maintenance; and 2) a broad range of institutional and infrastructure support services. The first component engages the Company’s aerospace testing expertise and capabilities in the operation and maintenance of four "world-class" space test facilities during the pre-test, test and post-test activities associated with large aerospace structures and systems to be flown in space. These structures and systems developed by NASA, U.S. and international aerospace industry, require rigid testing prior to space launch. The second component of this NASA contract is the institutional/ infrastructure O&M services associated with the large Government Plum Brook installation, including facility and utility systems O&M; motor vehicle O&M; supply, installation security, janitorial and grounds maintenance; and a wide scope of other administrative and technical support services.
